OHRG Five Guys Burgers & Fries Fundraiser

An easy way to help out your favorite roller derby league and eat some tasty food in the process. Just click the flyer image to the left in order to print it out. Then bring it to the Grandview location of Five Guys Burgers and Fries on Monday, March 15. Give it to the cashier when you make your order, and OHRG will receive a portion of the sale. 

Plus, you’ll likely get a chance to hang out with some of our skaters as well!

OHRG vs Naptown Rollergirls

Finally, after a long winter’s respite roller derby is coming back to Columbus! The Naptown Rollergirls are coming to Columbus for a rematch of last summer and hoping to add a few more wins to the end of their winning season. Your Ohio Roller Girls and Gang Green are anxious to grab the win again from Naptown Tornado Sirens and Warning Belles.

Wannabe Training

Ever wanted to be a roller derby girl? Want to know if you have what it takes? Here's your chance! The Ohio Roller Girls will be hosting a derby clinic for anyone interested in becoming a derby girl. 
Come out and meet our current skaters! We'll go over everything from basic skate form and crossovers to skills you'll need for playing derby—from stance and balance to starting and stopping to how to fall safely. 
 
Where: Skate Zone 71, 4900 Evanswood Dr., Columbus, Ohio 43229
When: Tuesday, March 30 at SZ71 from 9-11 PM - please arrive by 8:30PM to fill out paper work and get your gear on.
Cost: $10 (cash only)
What should I bring? We would prefer you have your own skates, knee and elbow pads, wrist guards, helmet and mouth guard - but if you don't, don't let that stop you! We will have a few sets of gear to lend and rink skates are available. Mouth guardswill be available for $1. 
What should I wear? Comfy workout clothes or anything that allows you to move freely.
Anything else? A water bottle and bandana - we will make you sweaty and thirsty!

If you missed the action during the last two matchups of these teams, here’s one last chance. OHRG is travelling back to Indy to hopefully repeat their victory from 2009 at The Pepsi Coliseum at the Indianapolis State Fairgrounds.
