have been pitching softballs and digging volleyballs since I can remember, but I started volunteering for OHRG in 2010. I am currently one of the All Star's bench coaches - its been a whirlwind of good times and big lessons, I love every minute of it.
Favorite Derby Story:
Getting the text that said we had made it to Regionals in 2011.
Other Heroes:
My husband Steve. I am lucky to be with someone who is so patient (I am a handful) and supportive.

Brunch and Whiskey.
Favorite Book:
"Sisters" written by Megan, my little sister, and I. It is not published, but it is by far my favorite book.
Favorite Derby Move:
I love seeing effective whips and pushes.
Derby Name Story:
I was giving the name BFF by a former skater. The meaning has changed several times. Most of the girls call me Katie, which is my real name.

Is there something that would surprise us about you?
I have never had a pickle- ever! The thought of eating a pickle disgusts me. UPDATE: In 2011, Vyle and Pippi were both successful at getting me to eat pickles. They are not that bad.
