Before I joined OHRG, I hadn't played an organized sport since middle school. I played soccer as a kid--goalie, believe it or not--and was in gymnastics for a bit. I was also quite the basketball star in my driveway--give me a hoop and a trampoline and I can't be stopped!
Favorite Derby Story:
The very first game I played was an away game against Killamazoo. It was crazy chaotic and I had no idea what I was doing, but there was one moment where I was able to get a hit on their jammer and knock her down. I felt like Rudy.
Other Heroes:
All those unsung heroes who have unwittingly put themselves in harm's way to kill spiders as I stood on chairs freaking out. You will not be forgotten.
Favorite Derby Gear:
All of it. Otherwise, Great Scott will yell at me.
Other Hobbies:
I'm a full-time student in OSU's Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and I work part-time at the James Cancer Hospital.
Favorite Meal & Drink:
Cheese and liquid cheese.
Favorite Book:
Pretty much anything that gives me reason to go on one of my feminazi-boner-killer rants after a few drinks. Misogyny by Jack Holland is pretty high on that list right now.
Favorite Movie or TV Show:
My favorite movie is Kill Bill. It has my favorite use of the c-word.
I love love love Shark Week. Trashy reality TV is one of my guilty pleasures. Oh, and Family Guy, I'mma let you finish, but Clone High is one of the best cartoons of all time!
Favorite Derby Move:
Picking myself up off the floor.
Derby Name Story:
I wish I could say it was my creation, but it was not. Basically, when I found out I made it onto the team, I put a status on facebook for name suggestions--creative, right?! Bigg Rigg was the best; it's a play on my last name and, well, me.
