The first bout I saw was when I lived in Cincinnati - Cincy vs. Ohio Roller Girls.
Derby Heroes:
OHRG - every single person in this league is a derby hero to me for one reason or another, I can't single one person out. Outside of OHRG - Bonnie D. Stroir (San Diego) and Suzy Hotrod (Gotham) for that "F You!" attitude with poise and grace.

TThe boys in the infamous Iwo Jima photo - their honor, courage and commitment in the face of such horrifying fear embodies the American spirit and can put your worst situation in a different perspective.
