Venue Notes

2011 brings OHRG to a few different venues: The Lausche and Ohio Buildings at the Ohio Expo Center, and one bout on 4/30 at Central Ohio Roller Hockey.

At the Expo Center: All Parking is $5 per car, no in and out. Cash only at the Expo Center. Bleacher, chair and floor seating available; ticket holders are welcome to bring their own seats.

Capacity at the Ohio Building is lower than Lausche, and seating will be more limited at those bouts.

Concessions, including alcohol, will be available.

At Central Ohio Roller Hockey: Low capacity bouts, with extremely limited seating. Please bring your own lawn, camp or folding chairs.

Free parking. Concession sales available. NO ALCOHOL.

Photographers and those bringing professional cameras (SLR or D-SLR type) should contact us prior to bout day.

The Ohio Roller Girls All Stars will take on the Burning River Rollergirls All Stars in a closed-door sanctioned bout in Cleveland.  This one is for rankings only folks, and is a very important game, since OHRG and BRRG are ranked neck and neck in the North Central region.

Welcome to the flat track as the Ohio Roller Girls kick off their 2011 home season with a double header between the Ohio Roller Girls and NEO Roller Derby.

Doors Open at 3:30
Action kicks off at 5pm.

Ohio Gang Green takes on the NEO Audio Assault at 5pm
Ohio takes on the NEO Rock’n Roller Girls in WFTDA Sanctioned Gameplay at 7pm

 

Note: CASH ONLY at the Expo Center. Beer and concessions are available on site.

Your very own Ohio Roller Girls will be taking on the Hard Knox Roller Girls (Knoxville, TN) in a hard-hitting roller derby doubleheader. Wear your black and green and come support your local derby girls!

Doors open at 3:30 pm; action starts at 5 pm.

OHRG’s Gang Green will battle the Hard Knox Brawlers at 5pm.
OHRG charter team will face the Hard Knox All-Stars at 7pm.

Extremely limited engagement at smaller venue as OHRG hosts the Killamazoo Derby Darlins of Kalamazoo, MI.

Doors Open at 3:30; Action kicks off at 4pm.

OHRG’s Gang Green will take on the Killa Crew at 4pm.
OHRG Charter team will battles the Killamazoo Derby Darlins in WFTDA Sanctioned Gameplay at 5:30pm.

Note: CASH ONLY at the venue.  Concessions are available on site, but no alcohol is permitted.

Ohio Roller Girls All Stars travel to take on the Arch Rival Rollergirls All-Stars in WFTDA Sanctioned play.  The doubleheader also features and undercard bout of the ARRG Saint Lunachix v. the Springfield Rollergirls.

Ohio Roller Girls Gang Green will travel to Toledo, OH to participate in a one-day tournament hosted by the WFTDA Apprentice League Glass City Rollers. The tournament will also feature Glass City, Sandusky Roller Girls, and Rollergirls of Central Kentucky.

The OHRG All Stars travel to Milwaukee for the second year in a row to participate in the Brewcity Bruisers’ Midwest Brew Ha Ha event.  Opponents to be announced, this tournament features two days of WFTDA Sanctioned and WFTDA regulation play.

OHRG’s Gang Green will take on the MRD Team Unicorn (Madison, WI) at 5pm.
OHRG Charter team will battles the Tri City Roller Girls (Ontario, Canada) at 7pm.

After the dust settles on the track, be sure to join us for a chance to mix and mingle with your favorite skaters from the bout at our afterparty!

OHRG takes both teams on the road for a multibout weekend in Nebraska.

Friday finds both OHRG teams facing off v. Omaha Rollergirls in Omaha, NE.

Then after some travel, the OHRG All Stars will take on the Rhode Island Riveters (Providence, RI) in a closed door, sanctioned bout on Saturday, 7/16. Later that day both the All Stars and Gang Green will face off v. the No Coast Derby Girls in Lincoln, NE.

The Ohio Roller Girls present a holiday themed roller derby game to get you in the spirit. Watch as the Roller Ghouls and Jingle Belles go head-to-head in a Halloween v. Christmas spectacular!

Featuring players from both the Ohio Roller Girls A Team and Gang Green, all mixed up for fun!  

For the second year in a row, the Marine Corps Reserve will be on hand to collect donations for their Toys for Tots campaign. We encourage all fans, skaters, referees and other volunteers to support this wonderful cause by donating a new, unwrapped toy.

Located at Central Ohio Roller Hockey, 941 Burrell Avenue, Grandview Heights. Doors open at 4:15, Event starts at 5.
