The furious winds and waves pounded the ship as the captain fought to keep her afloat. For hours he fought the wheel as the rains lashed the deck and crew. Alas, the storm would not be denied. With a brilliant flash of lightning, the Captain saw his doom. One monstrous wall of water rose up out of the sea to crush the ship's hull. With the keel shattered, Davy Jones would have his due.

One small child, caught up in buoyant wreckage was the lone survivor of the shipwreck at sea. She floated among the debris for days and was finally rescued by the all female inhabitants of a mysterious uncharted island. She was raised as one of them and trained in the ancient Amazonian arts of war.

She was told the tale of her past upon coming of age. Bound to determine her true identity she set off for far shores. She landed on the coast and wandered ashore. She walked for weeks on end learning the ways of this technologically advanced society. She quickly learned the language and found her way to libraries where she was able to determine that the ship her family was traveling on was caught far out at see by a large hurricane – Hurricane Jane.

She quickly adapted to this new society she found herself in and met and married a nice guy and had two kids. But her Amazonian warrior training would not be denied. By night she unleashes the fury of the storm that was lashed to her soul. By night she ends the misery of those ignorant enough to defy her will. Like benzocaine, procaine, lidocaine, and novacaine, Hurricaine Jane will end their pain. By night she takes the name of the storm that changed her life forever and like that storm nothing can stand in her way because she's an Amazonian Roller Derby Warrior – she's Hurricaine Jane!
