And then she kicked the ever-lovin' crap out of everyone who crossed her. Ziggy StarBUST, famed Intergalactic Roller Girl, currently of the Ohio Roller Girls, crashed down upon the earth on January 11, 2006, after being permanently banned from the Intergalactic Roller Derby League (IRDL) for having slaughtered, quite literally, the entire team from the Crab Nebula during a bout with her team, undefeated Intergalactic champions the Martian Marauders. Reports are convoluted, however, as to how exactly she managed this feat. Witnesses claim that one of the Crab Nebula Pincers shoved her from behind, sending Ziggy into a frenzy. When the Pincers tried to keep Ziggy from laying any more blows on their teammate, Ziggy turned on them and took down the entire team single handedly. Choked, beaten, maimed, and kicked in the face with Ziggy's quads, the Pincers were no more.

Ziggy wasn't always so violent; the key word here is "so." Raised on the small Jovian moon, Amalthea, Ziggy had an overindulgent childhood. This was largely due to the fact that her mother, a legendary glam rocker from the Andromeda Galaxy, and father, an alleged member of the Secret Intergalactic Ninja Squad (SINS), spoiled her and told her at every possible moment that she was special. She took that claim very seriously. For her fifth birthday, her parents gave her a pair of rocket skates. With her mother's propensity for glittery excess and her father's skill with the hira shuriken, skates in tow, Ziggy was the envy of all the Amalthean school children. Envy breeds cruelty, and quickly Ziggy was forced to defend her precious skates from the sticky fingers of her peers. Thus was born the wrath of Ziggy StarBUST. With one swift blow, she sent the children crashing to the ground, her skates spitting dust at them as she rocketed away. In short time, Ziggy herself became the schoolyard bully and quickly escalated to ringleader of a group of tough Amalthean girls, all of whom donned skates to be like Ziggy. They terrorized all of Amalthea with their special brand of roller mischief, Ziggy at the front, armed with her signature hira shuriken.

But how did Ziggy find the Intergalactic Roller Derby League? Where all great minds meet their downfall, of course: college. Something of a child prodigy, Ziggy enrolled early at The Europa University. However, her studies quickly fell by the wayside when she witnessed an exhibition bout between the Martian Marauders and the Milky Way Spillaz. She was hooked. Her special brand of brutality and love of roller skates translated well on the derby track. She quickly made a name for herself in the underground league, resulting in an early draft by the Martian Marauders, where she stayed for several winning seasons... until the incident. Upon which she was banned to the intergalactic wasteland of Earth.

But Earth hasn't proved to be all bad. As luck would have it, her ejection capsule landed square in Columbus, Ohio, home of the Ohio Roller Girls. Ziggy fit right in with these sassy badass derby dames, whose fury rivals that of Ziggy's Martian teammates. And now, Ziggy is here, ready to lay some glitter-laden smack down on some Earth broads. Watch out!
