I have been working in the world of Flat Track Roller Derby since September of 2005. I began my career as a league coach and soon found myself helping with other aspects of the league both on the track and behind the scenes. As we neared the first exhibition flat track roller derby bout in Ohio, The Skatemare Before X-Mas, the league needed an announcer to work the game. Since I knew the game, the rules, and the girls from coaching them, I volunteered to announce the bout.

After my performance at Skatemare, I was able to cement myself as the Ohio Roller Girl's head announcer and have worked all of their promotional events and bouts ever since. I enjoy my relationship with OHRG and am looking forward to continue to announce for them in season 3 and future travel games. I was also the head contact and organizer of the announcers for Heartland Havoc which was held this past August in Columbus, Ohio. This was a challenging but rewarding job as I had the chance to schedule the announcers for each game and in turn had the chance to work with some of my favorite and most respected peers.

I also venture outside of Columbus, Ohio to call games. I have enjoyed calling championship bouts for The Burning River Roller Girls and Cincinnati Roller Girls. I have also worked with the Gem City Roller Girls, Providence Roller Girls, Carolina Roller Girls, Gotham Girls Roller Derby, and The Windy City Rollers.
