Harley Ryder

Number: V2

A Baby Jane Doe was found in a trash dumpster by a group of bikers on vacation in South Dakota. Debate was started as to what this child should be named....soon, the name "Harley Ryder" was chosen as most appropriate. The group of bikers raised Harley as their own, and after finding she wasn't a "good fit" in the typical school setting (too many fights and a few cases of alleged arson) they took it upon themselves to teach her the 4 R's....reading, 'riting, 'rithmetic, and (of course) riding. Since she was still too young to have her own motorcycle, she was given a pair of skates. It wasn't long before she became lightening quick, agile and thouroghly aggressive on 8 wheels...stealthily dodging in and out of heavy traffic was entertainment at it's best for Harley!

At the age of 16, Harley got her first Harley Davidson. Roadtrips on her V-2 motorcycle quickly became not only an obsession, but a way of life. At 18, she left the love and safety of her biker family and set off to find her own place in the world. In Tennessee, she ran a man down for attempting to steal her bike. In Kentucky, she broke a woman's nose for cutting in front of her and taking the last Monster Lo-Carb at the Kwik-E-Mart.

Not wanting to bring so much potential legal trouble to her biker family, and not knowing where else to go, she ran to the state of Ohio. It was there she set up house and home in the suburbs of Columbus. For many years, she lived the life of a happy homemaker and suburbanite. She even bought an SUV to further blend into this Stepford facade.

Her life became BORING! Even roadtrips on her bike were no longer enough to feed her love of excitement.

In 2006, Harley decided to make a change. Grabbing her skates, she headed to the local rink to legally blow off the steam built up from years of boredom and dissatisfaction. It was there that she ran into some members of the Ohio Rollergirls team, the Take-Outs. In time, she gained their trust and respect. In 2007, they introduced her to their beloved mentor and trainer, Mai Pai. After assessing her skills and agility, he agreed that with her aggressive attitude, Harley MUST learn the ways of the Ninja. This marked the beginning of Harley's new life...goodbye bored suburbanite....hello deadly assassain disguised as a rollergirl!

What does the future hold for Harley Ryder? Stay tuned to OHRG season 2.0 and find out!
