Bubbling Maine Blueberry Brown Betty, spring crudites with orange-caper dip, hand-dyed guest linens, enriched organic garden compost...just a few pleasures from my home to yours. Every receipe, every stich, every dig of my hoe has proved enriching. But enriching above all, as you well know, my stint in prison was perhaps the greatest of all. Now, I looked awefully white, didn't I! I would be lying if I said the task ahead was not daunting, but I forged on making "Camp Cupcake" my second home. I should be thankful! It was there that I learned my most treasured skill of all time. Roller Derby! My fellow inmates and I would play every chance we had. And with such enthusiasm, I have dedicated my life to mastering it like I've mastered everything else. I hope derby will have as much an impact on your life as it has for me. I have even changed my creed to honor it. Now, it's not just a "good" thing, it's a DERBY thing!
