Becoming a Volunteer/Staff Member

What are the benefits of being a volunteer?

Being a part of OHRG is fun and rewarding! You can meet new people, support an all female sport and help with a grassroots effort. OHRG wouldn’t exist with out our wonderful volunteers!

Schedule

You must be available on Thursday nights from 7:30pm-9:30pm and Saturday mornings 9am-12pm and be up for occasional day changes. We currently host our home bouts on Saturdays and will give you plenty of notice for these bouts.

What does it take to become a referee for OHRG:

On top of making scrimmages and bouts, you must be able to skate or be willing to learn. You also have to learn the WFTDA rules.

What does it take to become a statistician for OHRG:

Be able to attend most scrimmages and bouts. Also, be willing to keep track of hits, blocks and various other parts of play. Knowledge of WFTDA rules is also necessary.
